Privacy Policy & Data Handling Documentation
Last updated: October 17, 2026. MyIP Wiki is committed to uncompromising privacy. This document outlines exactly how data is handled when you use our network tools.
Quick Answer
MyIP Wiki operates under an absolute zero-log policy. When you test your IP address or perform network diagnostics, your IP address is processed ephemerally in RAM to construct the immediate HTTP response and is never written to server disks, databases, or analytics services.
- All dynamic IP query endpoints explicitly send Cache-Control: no-store headers.
- We do not set tracking cookies or sell personal metadata to advertising networks.
- Referral links to third-party providers pass tracking tokens (?code=) only upon intentional click.
1. Ephemeral IP Processing
To display your public IPv4 or IPv6 address, our server or edge worker inspects standard connection headers (such as CF-Connecting-IP or X-Forwarded-For). This value is converted into a JSON payload and returned to your browser. No persistent log of your IP address, timestamp, or user-agent is recorded.
2. Third-Party Endpoints
For dual-stack testing, your browser directly initiates separate client-side fetch requests to public IPv4 and IPv6 endpoints (such as api4.ipify.org). These requests are governed by the respective providers' privacy policies and never pass through our intermediate storage.
3. Affiliate Disclosure & External Links
When you click external links to subscribe to partner services (e.g. Guangsu Cloud, Firefly, Invisible), you are redirected to the provider's domain using standard HTTP affiliate links containing tracking parameters (?code=...). These links are clearly labeled with rel="nofollow sponsored noopener". We do not transmit your local test results or personal information to these partners.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
MyIP Wiki does not use profiling cookies. Local storage may only be used on your device to remember user preferences (such as language selection).
